Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Control Officer to ensure the quality of raw materials and finished goods in our poultry manufacturing process. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, conducting regular quality checks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality of raw materials, including feed, ingredients, and packaging materials, meet company specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on finished goods, including poultry products, to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures, including sampling, testing, and inspection of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Identify and address quality issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality parameters are met during manufacturing.
  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and quality records.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits to ensure quality systems are in place and effective.
  • Train and guide quality control team members to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality control in a poultry manufacturing or food processing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements, including FSSAI and other relevant standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Certification in quality control.
  • Experience with quality management software and systems.
