Dalgona coffee is a beverage made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee powder, sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk. Occasionally, it is topped with coffee powder, cocoa, crumbled biscuits, or honey. It was popularized on social media in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when people refraining from going out started making videos of whipping the coffee at home, by hand without using electrical mixers.[4] The name is derived from dalgona, a Korean sugar sweet, due to the resemblance in taste and appearance, though most dalgona coffee doesn't actually contain dalgona.

A)Yes, a little different and i.e, The only difference is that when making phenti hui(Beaten) coffee, milk is poured on top of the whipped mix rather than spooning the whipped mix on top of the milk.

AIM : - Preparation of Dalgona Coffee





Ingredients





2 tablespoon coffee powder


2 tablespoon sugar


2 tablespoon boiling water


2 cup cold milk


ice cubes as required








How to make Dalgona Coffee




Step 1 Make coffee mixture




To prepare this delicious coffee, take a bowl and mix equal quantities of coffee powder, sugar and hot water.



Step 2 Beat coffee mixture using whisker or hand blender


Now, using a whisker or hand blender, blend the coffee mixture until it is light, frothy and creamy. This might take a good amount of time.



Step 3 Prepare the Dalgona Coffee


Now, take 2 glasses or coffee mugs and add ice cubes in it as per your convenience. Pour cold milk in them and add this beaten and whipped coffee over it. Serve chilled.
