Position: Food Technologist (AM/DM/Mgr)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and innovative Food Technologist to join our team in a chocolate and bakery setup. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing new recipes, optimizing existing formulations, and enhancing the shelf life of our products. This position requires a strong understanding of food science principles, ingredient functionality, and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recipe Development:
  • Create and test new chocolate and bakery formulations that meet quality, taste, and cost objectives.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and refine recipes based on market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Document all formulations and processes, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Shelf Life Optimization:
  • Conduct research and experiments to improve the shelf life of chocolate and bakery products.
  • Evaluate the impact of different preservatives, packaging, and storage conditions on product longevity.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for production adjustments.

Quality Assurance:

  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to assess product quality and acceptance.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure consistency in product quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production, to align product development with business goals.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff regarding new recipes and processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in food science.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments, formulations, and production processes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in food product development, preferably in chocolate or bakery sectors.
  • Strong understanding of food preservation methods and ingredient functionality.
  • Proficiency in sensory analysis and quality control techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,433.04 - ₹49,920.14 per month
