Dealing with its worldwide suppliers and customer base for the past 10+ years.We are looking for a dynamic candidate who can oversee all aspects of product development, reviewing and approving nutritional data, writing product specifications for food products. Maintain food quality and ensure that the food products are not harmful and responsible for packaging, food safety and storage is done under required conditions.We are the traders of Indian Grocery & Food Products to European Countries and planning to launch our own brands into Europe market related to Food Products Like, Rice, Spices etc.We are looking for a personal with commitment and can stay for long-time with us.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Knowledge in Food safety and standards (FSSAI, HACCP), Ensuring that the product manufacturing, storage, and packaging is executed as per FSSAI, GMP, GHP SOPs and other legal compliances • Applies scientific principles & Engineering in research, development, production technology, quality control, packaging, processing, and utilization of foods: Conducts basic research, and new product research and development of foods • Modify existing products and processes • Select raw materials and other ingredients from suppliers • Compile, check and approve product specifications and labelling • Work on packaging innovation and technology, Identifying and selecting suitable packaging materials, packaging conditions for new/existing products • Proof Reading of the designing works prepared by inhouse designers for various products and identifying the changes required. • Develop samples/prototypes of new products also finding substitutes for harmful ingredients • Research current consumer markets and latest technologies to develop new product concepts • Set up and maintain quality controls and documentation procedures • Conducting Quality & Food Safety Audits at manufacturing units & compliance to defined standards in Process & Systems and helping set up ISO norms • Studies methods to improve quality of foods, such as flavour, colour, texture, nutritional value, convenience, or physical, chemical, and microbiological composition of foods. Ensure that strict hygiene food safety standards are met • Ideation, benchmarking, recipe designing and costing of new products which are unique across the competitive market • Run trials of new products - either alongside or together with product development • Deal with any customer complaint investigations or product issues • liaise with technical and commercial colleagues in procurement, sales, technical services and marketing and distribution, and with official food inspection and hygiene agencies • Make sure that production is going smoothly and ensure that it has maintained all the production standards.

Required Experience

• Must and should have minimum 0-3 Years of Industry experience as a Food Technologist or any other similar roles. • Excellent Written and Verbal skills • Knowledge on MS Office, Excel Sheets, and mailing • Drafting of Product specifications, labelling & Nutritional Values accordingly. • Ability to provide recommendations on products development Qualification Required • Must be Bachelors /Master's degree in food science or in a related field. Other points • Able to communicate fluently in English & Hindi. • Other languages will be an added advantage to this position. • Preferable to candidates working and staying in Hyderabad or ready to relocate.
